Glenn Edwin “Ed” Ward, age 70, of Lexington, passed Friday, April 26, 2019. He is survived by his wife Bonnie, son Nathan, “Poppa” to Lily and Riley, mother Anne Ward Kinney, sister Glenda Bunn, and brother Daniel Ward.
Ed was a member of First United Methodist Church where he served in the choir, Sunday School teacher, numerous mission teams, Habitat for Humanity builds, disaster team, and Lay Leader.

Having been an Eagle Scout, he was drawn into Scouting with his son, serving as Cubmaster and currently Scouting Committee Chairman. He is the West TN. Outdoor Ethics Advocate for the West TN. Area Council BSA, member of National Camp Accreditation Program team, and Leave No Trace Master Educator. He received the Award of Merit, Cross and Flame Award and Silver Beaver Award.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, May 4, at First United Methodist Church, visitation from lOam-noon with services starting at noon. The family requests that any memorials be made to First United Methodist Church Food Pantry or West TN Area Council BSA Camp Cabin Project.
