Michael Lentz

Michael F Lentz, of Lexington, TN passed away in the early morning hours of April 28 2022, he was 68 years old. He was born May 8th, 1953, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, the son of Albert and Rosalind (nee Annis) Lentz. He grew up in the Oshkosh area and graduated from Waupun High School in 1971. Following high school Michael enlisted in the Air Force. After serving honorably in the armed services he worked different jobs including various factory jobs. In the 1990s he relocated to Tennessee where he has lived ever since. He was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Lexington TN. His faith grew stronger each year and he was known for his ability to remember and quote many Bible verses.
Michael is survived by his children Michael of Grafton WI; Greggory (Erica) of Fredonia, WI; Shawna (Ken) Walker of Bowling Green, KY; Geoffrey (Carla) of Smithgrove, KY; Benjamin of Michigan; Daniel (Brooklynn) of Holland, MI; Jeremy (Athaleia) of Trenton, TN; Brothers Bill of Wautoma, WI, and Dennis of Woodlawn, TN; Sister Karen (Bill) Fritz of Columbus, WI. Grandchildren; Avalina, Jack, Lila, Tristan, Victor, Lucille, Destiny, Loretta, Natilie, Jaydon, Tyler, and Carsyn. In addition, Michael leaves behind many nieces nephews, and cousins that were near to his heart. He is also survived by his fiancé Marni Melton of Lexington TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons Joey and Aaron; Brother Hubert; Sisters Henrietta Masche, Sharon Hansen, Phyllis Chitwood, and Meredith Lewis. Michael will be remembered for his fun-loving personality that made people around him laugh. Even though his kids and grandkids were far away, he often spoke to others about how proud of them he was and how much he loved them.
Private funeral services were held May 1st. Henderson County Cremation Services of Tennessee assisted the family.
