Richard W. Holroyd, Jr, age 56 of Luray, TN passed away November 23, 2020, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He was born November 1, 1964, in Atlantic City, NJ, the son of the late Richard Holroyd Sr. and Alice Marie Alexander. Richard’s mother remarried Jim Alexander, who adopted Richard and his younger brothers John and Matthew. Richard was a contractor for many years. His son Richie Holroyd worked with him. The two of them were very close. Richard was a very kind and giving person who loved with all of his heart and would do anything for anyone. Richard is survived by his “Pop,” Jim Alexander (Midge), son Richie Holroyd (Heather), fiancé Cindy Brittain, two grandsons Jon and Jacob, sister-in-law Camellia Alexander, along with aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Richard was preceded in death by his father Richard Holroyd Sr., mother Alice Marie Alexander, brothers John and Matthew Alexander, and grandparents. Richard’s life will be celebrated by family and friends who loved him dearly at his home in Luray, TN on December 12. 2020. Henderson County Cremation Services of TN, LLC provided services.
