Ricky Lee Schenck

Ricky (Rick) Lee Schenck of Lexington, Tennessee passed on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at the young age of 66. After fighting a hard battle against Covid-19 with his beloved wife Pauline, daughter Melinda and granddaughter Vanessa by his side.


Rick was born in Dixon Illinois on October 5, 1954, to Father Clyde Schenck and Mother Flora Schenck; he was the youngest of four siblings. Rick had some college education. Rick’s work ethic and desire to take care of his family lead him to enlist in the USMC at age 17. He was stationed in Okinawa, Japan as a sergeant from May 1, 1974, and was honorably discharged on May 25, 1976. After returning to the United States, he drove truck for 43 years before retiring.


He was preceded in death by his parents and brother James Courtright. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years Pauline Schenck, children, grandchildren, adopted granddaughters, great-grandchildren, and his many lovable fur babies.


A memorial for Rick is planned for Friday, September 24, 2021, starting at 1:00pm. The memorial will be held at Crosspoint Church on 50 Dixon Street Lexington, TN. All are invited to attend and celebrate his life with his loving family and friends.
