Wanda Darlene Taylor passed away Friday, January 21 st at the age of 74 at Jackson-Madison County
Hospital. She was retired Decatur County School teacher, who worked 36 long years and owned Taylor’s
BBQ. Harold and Wanda were also co-owners of Ivy Hog Farm. Her favor pass time was sewing and
taking one of her granddaughters to horse shows. She loved watching her westerns. One of her most
exciting experiences in life, beside giving her life to Christ, was when she was at Graceland and Elvis
pulled up on his motorcycle and signed an autograph. She also loved Bella, her German Shepard. She
was preceded in death by her parents Newman & Clovie Ivy of Decaturville, husband of 50 years Harold
Taylor, a sister Rite Barnett, a daughter Robbie Taylor, a nephew Timothy Barnett, and a niece Victoria
Duffle. She is survived by a daughter Kim Dickson of Parsons, a sister Caroline (Pete) Duffle of
Decaturville, grandchildren Beau (Kelsey) Dickson, Chole Dickson, & Brooklyn (Gary) Jones, and one
great-grandson Jordon Dickson. Her Memorial Service will be held at Concord United Methodist Church
in Decaturville, TN on February 6 th from 1pm-3pm with her service beginning at 3pm.
